The Gigabit POE Surge Protector BS RJ45G 48-IP66 (630027) is designed for installation at LPZ 0A-2 or higher, offering protection to network equipment from disruptions caused by surge currents. It complies with IEC standards for CAT 6 or Class E integrated wiring systems and provides surge protection for industrial Ethernet networks operating at 10M, 100M, and 1GBit speeds. Featuring an RJ45 interface, it protects all four pairs of lines with an IP66 waterproof rating. This product is built in accordance with IEC 61643.21, EN 61643-21, and GB 18802.21 standards.

Installation
1. Choose the Installation Point: Place the surge protector between the external Ethernet line and the protected PoE device (e.g., IP camera, access point, or VoIP phone).2. Power Down Equipment: Switch off and disconnect all connected network devices to ensure safe installation.
3. Connect the Incoming Cable: Plug the Ethernet cable from the network switch or PoE injector into the “IN” port of the surge protector.
4. Connect the Outgoing Cable: Use another Ethernet cable to connect the “OUT” port of the surge protector to the protected PoE device.
5. Ground the Device: Attach the grounding wire from the surge protector to a reliable earth point to safely divert surge energy.
6. Secure the Unit: Mount the surge protector close to the device it protects, ensuring stable placement and minimal cable length.
7. Restore Power and Test: Power up the PoE device and verify both data transmission and power delivery are functioning correctly.
